The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame will enshrine its Class of 2026 on Saturday, August 15, at Symphony Hall in Springfield, Massachusetts. The ceremony is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on NBA TV and is expected to run until 9 p.m.
This is the Basketball Hall of Fame—not an NBA-only institution—so the nine inductees represent several levels and branches of the sport.

For NBA fans, the strongest connecting thread is the Phoenix partnership between Stoudemire and D’Antoni. Stoudemire became one of the league’s most destructive pick-and-roll finishers, while D’Antoni’s pace, spacing and commitment to early offense helped push NBA strategy toward the modern game.
Stoudemire made six All-Star teams and five All-NBA teams during a 14-season career. His peak came with the Phoenix Suns before he became the face of the New York Knicks’ return to relevance in 2010-11. D’Antoni won NBA Coach of the Year twice and built offenses around shooting, rapid decisions and a spread pick-and-roll long before those concepts became standard across the league.
Their presenter selections make that shared history part of the ceremony. D’Antoni’s group includes Stoudemire and Steve Nash, while Stoudemire’s includes D’Antoni, Nash, Grant Hill, Tracy McGrady, Jerry Colangelo and Rick Welts.
Rivers enters as a coach after nearly three decades on NBA sidelines. His defining achievement remains the Boston Celtics’ 2008 championship, and Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce will present him. The pairing gives the ceremony a direct link to the team that established Rivers’ championship résumé.
Crawford’s induction recognizes a different NBA career. He officiated for 39 seasons, including extensive playoff and NBA Finals work, and joins the Hall as a referee rather than as a player, coach or executive.
The class extends well beyond the NBA
Parker, Delle Donne and Holdsclaw give the class exceptional depth in women’s basketball.
Parker won three WNBA championships, two league MVP awards and two NCAA titles at Tennessee. Delle Donne was a two-time WNBA MVP and led the Washington Mystics to the 2019 championship. Holdsclaw won three consecutive national titles at Tennessee before becoming the first pick in the 1999 WNBA Draft and a six-time All-Star.
The 1996 U.S. women’s team is being honored for an achievement whose consequences extended far beyond its Olympic gold medal. That roster helped build momentum for the launch of the WNBA in 1997 and began a run of eight consecutive Olympic championships for the United States through 2024.
Few enters for his work at Gonzaga, where he turned a successful program into a lasting national contender. The Hall categorized D’Antoni as a contributor, reflecting an influence that crossed playing and coaching careers in Europe and the NBA.
When does Enshrinement Weekend begin?
The weekend starts Friday, August 14, at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. The Hall’s official event schedule lists an autograph session, media availability and the Tip-Off Celebration and Awards Gala. The gala program runs from 8 to 10 p.m. ET on NBA TV and includes the presentation of the inductees’ Hall of Fame jackets and rings.
Saturday’s events move to Springfield. The red carpet begins at 6 p.m. before the enshrinement ceremony starts at 7.
